2. Our Core Privacy Principle

Siplinx AI is built on a local-first architecture. The application installs AI models directly on your device. All audio capture, speech-to-text transcription, and language model summarization happens on your machine - not on our servers. We have no technical ability to access your meeting content because it never travels to us.

3. What We Collect

3.1 Account Information

When you create an account or activate a subscription, we collect:

• Email address
• Subscription status and plan type
• Payment information (processed by our payment provider; we do not store card details)
• License key and activation timestamps

3.2 App Usage Telemetry (Optional)

With your explicit consent, we may collect anonymized, aggregated usage data to improve the product, such as:

• App version and OS version
• Feature usage frequency (e.g., "export to PDF used")
• Crash reports (without any meeting content)

You can opt out of telemetry at any time in Settings → Privacy.

3.3 What We Never Collect

We never collect, receive, or store:

• Meeting audio recordings
• Transcripts or text of conversations
• AI-generated summaries, notes, or action items
• Names of meeting participants
• Names of clients, projects, or files discussed
• Screen content or window titles
• Any biometric or voice data
• Meeting metadata from Zoom, Teams, Meet, or other platforms

4. How We Use Your Data

The account information we collect is used to:

• Provide and maintain your Siplinx AI subscription
• Send transactional emails (license confirmation, subscription receipts, expiry reminders)
• Respond to support requests
• Improve the software through aggregated, anonymized telemetry (with consent)

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Local Data Storage

All meeting transcripts, summaries, and notes are stored in an encrypted local database on your device. The location of this database is configurable in the app settings. You have full control over your local data and can delete it at any time from within the app.

6. Third-Party Services

Siplinx AI uses the following third-party services for non-meeting operations:

• Stripe - payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data.
• Cloudflare - website hosting and CDN. Cloudflare may process IP addresses for security and performance.
• Microsoft Clarity - anonymized website analytics (pages, not app behavior).

None of these services receive your meeting content.

7. Data Retention

Account data is retained for as long as your account is active and for up to 12 months after account deletion, as required by applicable tax and accounting laws. You may request deletion of your account data by emailing [email protected].

8. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the following rights:

• Access - request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Rectification - request correction of inaccurate data
• Erasure - request deletion of your account and associated data
• Portability - request your data in a machine-readable format
• Objection - object to processing for marketing purposes

9. Children's Privacy

Siplinx AI is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us to have it removed.

We use industry-standard security practices to protect account data: encrypted storage, TLS in transit, and access controls. Because meeting content is processed locally on your device, it is not subject to cloud data breaches.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you by email or in-app notification for material changes. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision.
